How many of us lost friends, family, and colleagues to cancer? Just like the rest of Northern New Mexico, the staff at Toyota of Santa Fe knows about cancer first hand.
General Sales Manager, Buddy Espinosa comments, “Toyota of Santa Fe is more than just a team. It’s a family. And just like any family, when something happens to one of us, we are all affected”
“It was 9 years ago,” remembers Buddy. “We just lost a dear friend to cancer. He came with us to Santa Fe as one of our finance managers. He was also married to our customer relation manager. The whole team suffered together through his illness and death.” It is more than a feeling of loss. There’s also a feeling of wanting to help make things better.
“You make a living by what you get. You make a life by what you give. ” anonymous
That is when Toyota of Santa Fe first started supporting Cancer Foundation of New Mexico. “Even when people have insurance, they often don’t have the financial means to travel back and forth to Santa Fe” explains General Manager Buddy Espinosa, we wanted to help provide a solution to that problem. The Cancer Foundation gives us a way to do something to make an impact for our friends in Northern New Mexico. “
