About Waldorf

Waldorf education enables a child to stay fascinated with learning into adolescence. All academic classes are infused with art to encourage creative thinking, inspire self-discipline, and deepen understanding of the subject. </p?

The Waldorf curriculum is broad and comprehensive, structured to respond to the developmental phases of childhood. Founded by celebrated scientist, philosopher and educator Rudolf Steiner back in 1919, Waldorf education continues the philosophy of achieving balance in the three realms through which a person relates to the world—the realm of thinking, the life of feelings, and physical activity.

With more than 1,250 Waldorf schools worldwide, Waldorf education is one of the fastest-growing educational movements in the world.

Past Event

Thank you so much for your donations on June 10th in our first Recycle event. We raised over $2000 for New Mexico Therapeutic Riding!!  Toyota of Santa Fe donates 10 centers per pound for everything that gets recycled that day to New Mexico Therapeutic Riding. And that donation will be matched by New Mexico Computer Recyclers.

Join us to help the environment and a great cause!  Here’s the June Video to give you an idea ..

Also see some of the many photos and videos of our event.

It was so successful that we plan to do it again in August, this time benefitting Waldorf School.     As before, we’ll be collecting donations at Santa Fe Place Mall.  Look for the Special Event Tent next to the big white tents.   You may drop off donations starting Wednesday, August 9th at 9am. The actual event will be Saturday, August 12th.

Bring your old computers, stereos, printers, cameras, or just about anything with a plug (except TVs and microwaves.)
