 What does a Finance Manager do?

Responsibilities

• Responsible for helping our customers arrange the financing of their purchases
• Provides customers with thorough explanation of additional products/protections that enhance their vehicle and ownership experience.
• Maintains proficiency and certifications as required for the position
• Submit deals to lenders for approval, makes credit decisions, and effectively closes deals
• Ensures all deals are fully compliant with local, state and federal guidelines
• Prepares paperwork, contracts and delivers deals
• Accurately audits team deals Post-Sale
• Ensures the expeditious funding of all contracts
• Work vehicle cash, lease and finance deals from start to finish
• Offer finance and insurance opportunities to our customer’s
• Assist Sales Manager in selecting best qualifying financial institution
• Provide sales floor assistance in selecting best options for customers

Qualifications

Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certifications, Licenses):

• Automotive Finance: 1 year mandatory
• Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
• Professional personal appearance and excellent communication skills
• Basic MS office knowledge, computer software and internet proficiency.
• Excellent verbal/written communications, strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Preferred knowledge of CDK for finance and Darwin for product presentation.
• Minimum high school diploma or GED equivalent required
• Bi-lingual is always a plus!
